An essential piece of kit if you have a lot of piercings, or like to wear thick ball closure rings. Available in two specifications either standard ring opening pliers which are slightly smaller, or professional ring opening pliers which are slightly larger making opening larger ball closure rings easier. Both are made from solid 316L surgical steel. These ring opening pliers will easily open ball closure rings up to 5mm and most larger diameter 6mm (for small diameter 6mm rings and 7mm and 8mm ball closure rings you may need our Colossal Ring Opening Pliers!). They have fine tips for small ball closure rings and special grooves to help hold the bigger jewellery in place as you are opening it. TIP: When using pliers to open ring up, only very gently open the ring just as much as you need, if you use too much force you'll overstretch the ring.
