Male Genital Piercing
- Prince Albert (P.A.) - in through the urethra and exits through the cleft of the glans on the underside of the penis.
- Guiche - the ridge of skin between the legs and behind the scrotum.
- Pubic - area above the penis, at the base of the shaft.
- Frenum -web of skin that joins the glans to the foreskin.
- Scrotum - can be placed anywhere on the scrotum with the most popular placements being a central 'ladder' or a pair with one on either side of the base of the shaft, known as Hafada piercing.
- Foreskin - can be placed anywhere along the foeskin either horizontally or vertically.
- Ampallang - horizontal piercing through the glans.
- Apadravya - vertical piercing through the glans.
- Dydoe - usually as a pair, through the coronal ridge at the edge of the glans.
With all male genital piercings the piercee should abstain from all sex (sorry guys that is including masturbation!) for the first week. After this and until the piercing is fully healed a condom should be worn (including during oral sex) even if it is with a long-term partner. Your urine is sterile to your own body as long as you are reasonably healthy and for P. A. piercings urinating can actually help by bathing the piercing regularly. Once the piercing has been fully healed for at least a month male genital piercings can be stretched to accomodate larger guage jewellery. This is often popular with men who have Prince Albert, Guiche and Ampallang Piercings. The larger guage jewellery can often feel more comfotable for both partners during sex.
Prince Albert Piercing
By far the most popular male genital piercing is the Prince Albert, or P.A., (popularly rumoured to have originated during the 19th century as a means of securing the penis to the leg, thus avoiding to visible a bulge when wearing tight trousers). The point of piercing is through the relatively thin (approximately 7mm) of tissue just under the glans at a point where the urethra is closest to the surface. This piercing is always fitted with a ball closure ring to start with, once healed the jewellery can be changed to other ring styles or bananabells. The healing time for a P.A. is quite quick at about 4-6weeks. A Reverse P.A. can also be performed( which is in fact half an Apadravya). Again a ball closure ring is worn to start with and this passes down the urethra and exits through the top of the glans. The healing time for the Reverse P. A. is slightly longer as the tissue to be pierced through is thicker than for a P. A.

Guiche Piercing
The Guiche piercing is rumoured to have originated in both Samoa and Tahiti, although there appears to be no written documentation to back this up. The placement of this piercing is very important so that it can provide the wearer with extra stimulation. We usually initially fit Guiche piercings with a ball closure ring, but once the piercing has healed Guiche weights can also be worn.

Frenum Piercing
The Frenum (or Fraenulum) piercing is another very popular male genital piercing. However, please bear in mind that circumcision u sually removes the Frenum which can mean that circumcised men may not be suitable for this piercing. We initially fit a Frenum piercing with a barbell, but once healed some men do prefer to wear a ring.

Foreskin Piercing
Foreskin piercings (or 'Infibulation') can be traced right back through Roman and Greek writings with Celsus, Fallopio and Martial all making mention of it. We initially fit Foreskin piercings with barbells either horizontally, or vertically along the shaft, however, if you require a ball closure ring for thr initial piercing this can be accomodated. Forskin piercings have been used for centuries as a chastity device by placing a lock through two piercings.

Ampallang Piercing
The Ampallang, or 'Palang' as it is correctly called, originated among the tribesmen of Borneo where it is said that the women refused to sleep with a man who was without one. It is slowly becoming more common in this country as it is an enjoyable piercing for both partners. Larger balls are usually more comfortable (at least 6mm) than smaller, "sharper" feeling balls. The Ampallang can be placed so it either passes through, or misses, the urethra. If it passes through the healing time can be shortened slightly as it is in fact two smaller piercings.

Apadravya Piercing
The Apadravya in mentioned in the Kama Sutra of 700AD and is in fact a P.A. and a reverse P. A. together and has been practiced in S. E. Asia for hundreds of years. A barbell is usually worn much like with an Ampallang. This piercing can be performed in one piercing, as with the Ampallang, but using an existing P. A. piercing for the first part of the piercing is the most common way of performing an Apadravya.
